Art-silk is a woven fabric, either with a very short pile, or with a slightly longer, unkempt pile, and a nice sheen to it. 

We have teamed our pieces with a nice paw/foot pad fabric for you - either a faux suede or a wool felt, and you should be able to get a nice little bear (or 2) out of each piece - eg - our Cyril or Carly down to little George.
